It was officially confirmed today that a fourth film in the iconic Matrix series will be produced, with stars Keanu Reeves ('Neo') and Carrie-Anne Moss ('Trinity') reprising their roles and Lana Wachowski set to both write and direct the entry.
US actor Keanu Reeves and Canadian-born actress Carrie-Anne Moss pose for photographers on a terrace of the Palais des festivals during the photocall for"Matrix Reloaded" directed by the Wachowski brothers during the 56th Cannes film festival on 15series will be produced, with stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprising their roles and Lana Wachowski set to both write and direct the entry. With her sister Lilly, Lana Wachowski both wrote and directed the entire originaltrilogy.
The fourth film will be produced and directed by Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures. In addition to Wachowski, the script is written by Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell, and will be co-produced by Grant Hill.
