Fort St John RCMP say their Street Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at 10017 92 St. on March 14, arresting two males and four females in the residence.
Executing a search warrant, approximately five ounces of cocaine, meth and magic mushrooms were seized, along with multiple pill bottles containing dilaudids and hydromorphone pills, cartons of unstamped tobacco and a firearm. It appeared that individuals were trading items or using prepaid visa or gift cards as currency in exchange, noted a press release.
The residence was set up like a drug convenience store with a sales counter set up just inside the door, said Constable Connor Watson, Street Enforcement Team Commander for the Fort St John RCMP. The individual believed to be running this unit will be facing significant numbers of charges as a result of this search warrant.
The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate this and other drug related offences and are asking anyone who has information in this matter to contact the Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100. Should you wish to remain anonymous, please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or submit a tip online at www.northernbccrimestoppers.ca.
