Legendary former NASCAR Cup Series champion Kurt Busch found himself in legal trouble after being arrested late Monday night in Iredell County. At 11:32 p.m. ET, law enforcement pulled over Busch for speeding, clocking him at 63 mph in a 45 mph zone. However, the situation quickly escalated when tests revealed that Busch's blood-alcohol level was 0.17%, significantly over North Carolina's legal limit of 0.08%.
His last race before the concussion was at Pocono Raceway, a moment that unfortunately heralded the end of his active racing career. Since then, Busch had taken a role as a team ambassador for the 23XI Racing team, navigating his post-racing life while dealing with the long-term effects of his injury.Busch's career is highlighted by his 2004 NASCAR Cup Series championship win, which was the first season under the 'Chase for the Cup' format, and his victory at the 2017 Daytona 500.
