One former MLB general manager believes that Shohei Ohtani is more exciting than Aaron Judge.
Major League Baseball has a collection of star players who are almost bigger than the game itself. However, the two that tend to stick out the most are designated hitter Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers and outfielder Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees.More news: Which MLB Team's Pitchers Have the Most Tommy John Surgeries? Both players have won MVP honors and All-Star appearances and have taken over the two largest markets in the United States.
Judge is not an exciting defensive player, where he's climbing walls and robbing home runs and everything else. And for me, I'm mesmerized by Shohei Ohtani and what he's able to do as a hitter, the numbers that he's able to put up. And sure, Judge's WAR is a little better right now because of the defensive aspect of it. But, I look at Ohtani and his ability to drive the ball from line to line, and his ability to run when he puts it in play.
