Nicholas Morales was killed on August 2, 2019 when he was shot in the stomach by then 16-year-old Duantel Evans,
will spend up to 12 years in prison for the 2019 killing of Nicholas Morales.
Evans was arrested on a charge of criminal homicide on May 1, 2020. Dauphin County Chief Deputy District Attorney Steve Zawisky said at the time that police believed there was an ongoing dispute between Evans’ family and Morales’ family.Following the arrest, investigators were required to leave a copy of the search warrant and affidavit of probable cause at Evans’ home, which listed the name of the witness in the case.. They then found the witness and attacked him.
Jakiy and Sean Evans were sentenced to two and half to five years in state prison, according to the DA’s office.
