A former executive of online mental-health startup Cerebral alleged in a labor lawsuit that the company encouraged Adderall prescriptions to keep clients
A former executive of online mental-health company Cerebral Inc. alleged in a labor lawsuit that the company prescribed stimulant medications for “business reasons” to patients seeking treatment for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.
The lawsuit filed Wednesday by Matthew Truebe, Cerebral’s former vice president in charge of product and engineering, alleged that Chief Executive Kyle Robertson directed Cerebral employees to track the extent to which patient retention correlated with stimulant prescriptions.
