Ex-Jay calls the critics “clowns” while saying “times likes these are when true athletes are transformed.”
Marcus Stroman, the Chicago Cubs right-hander who spent parts of six seasons in Toronto, hadfor Manoah after a poor first star in the Florida Complex League on Tuesday, when the 25-year-old allowed 11 runs on 10 hits and a pair of walks.
“Times likes these are when true athletes are transformed,” Stroman tweeted Wednesday morning, predicting a successful return to the major league for Manoah. “I can’t wait for Manoah to get back to the MLB and make y’all eat your words.
