Hooper, 68, represented a Montgomery district in the House of Representatives and has remained active in the state Republican Party.

The grand jury found that Hooper subjected the victim to “sexual contact by forcible compulsion.” The indictment was issued Friday and reported by WSFA.and released on a $15,000 bond.
