Harley Davidson’s spinoff plan for its electric-bike division could be a template for Ford. But it’s not clear whether a spin does anything other than offer Wall Street another electric stock to buy, writes JMAGuilford:
Ford Motor on Feb. 3 reported fourth-quarter results that fell short of expectations, with adjusted earnings per share of $0.26 versus estimates of $0.45, according to Refinitiv.
Adjusted earnings were down from $0.34 per share compared to the prior year.
