The Ford Mustang Mach-E is too new to have featured in the 2021 What Car? Reliability Survey but Ford as a brand didn’t do very well. It finished in joint 27th place out of 30 car makers and scored a disappointing 86.2%. In contrast, Kia – which makes the rival Kia EV6 electric SUV – finished ninth and scored 95.8%. The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT is faster than the Mach-E Extended Range RWD , but has a shorter range. The GT can officially manage 310 miles on a full battery charge – 69 miles less than the Extended Range RWD . The GT accelerates from 0-62mph in 3.7sec, compared with the Extended Range RWD’s 7.0sec. The GT also has more aggressive styling, sports front seats, four-wheel drive and lower-riding adaptive suspension.
