Ontario Premier Doug Ford is offering his sympathies to the family of a young girl who was fatally stabbed on Tuesday night in Scarborough.
“I can’t imagine the pain of losing a child and my deepest condolences go out to her family and loved ones,” he wrote in a tweet.
At the scene, TPS said officers found a female youth with injuries. Police said they attempted life-saving efforts, but were unsuccessful and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Toronto police have not released any further details about the incident or the circumstances leading up to it.
