Going to your first ever football match is a moment you’ll remember for the rest of your life.
“I wouldn’t be surprised that if in the next 10 years, there are no teams who don’t produce a physical programme anymore,” he said. “It’s part of the matchday scene isn’t it of the people outside selling the programmes and shouting, which we can hear in the background where we are now,” Rick Everitt, Charlton fan, former communications director and long-time editor of the Voice of the Valley fanzine explains.
On top of that, one of the most traditional ways for clubs to communicate with fans would be lost and it would mean key memories or moments – like young kids getting autographs from players – would be consigned to history.
