The Judson Rockets enter the field for their game against Steele in Converse on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021.SAN ANTONIO — Judson is forfeiting its 44-0 victory against East Central from Friday because the Rockets played an ineligible player.
East Central ISD athletic director Suzette Arriola confirmed the forfeit. She said Judson self-reported the ineligibility to the UIL. The score is officially 2-0. The game was the District 27-6A opener. The Rockets are now 3-4 overall and 0-1 in district. That result could factor into postseason eligibility in the six-team district. With only five district games, there is not much room for error with only four playoff spots available.
