A flight attendant has warned travelers never to wear shorts or a skirt on a plane, and the reason might surprise you.
“You never know how clean the seat is going to be – so if you have pants, you’re going to have less germs.” Another one of his five points was to “never touch the flush button or lever.” Apparently, doing this with your bare hands is “super unsanitary and gross” so he suggests using a piece of tissue in the bathroom to press the flush. According to this flight attendant, it is best to avoid contact with the seat and windows, as you never know who sat there before you.“Thanks, great advice!” one person said.
