An 18\u002Dyear\u002Dold from Prince Albert, three men aged 22, 25 and 26 from Saskatoon, and another 21\u002Dyear\u002Dold were charged jointly with various weapons\u002Drelated offences.

Prince Albert Police Service said in a news release that officers were called to the 500 block of 8th Street East around 11:15 p.m. after a report of a suspicious vehicle.

Police found the five men inside the vehicle, along with a visible weapon . All five were taken into custody. The news release said that police then found a number of other weapons, including two loaded handguns, a BB gun, and a shotgun, as well as a baggie of pills, ammunition, cannabis and a small quantity of cash.

An 18-year-old from Prince Albert, three men aged 22, 25 and 26 from Saskatoon, and another 21-year-old for whom police did not list a home location were charged jointly with various weapons-related offences. Four of the men appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Thursday, while the 21-year-old was scheduled to make his first court appearance Friday. He is facing additional charges of obstruction, possession of firearm contrary to prohibition orders and breach of release orders.
