Several inches of snow covered Anchorage Sunday morning, with some areas seeing up to 4.5 inches.

About 4.5 inches had fallen by late morning at the National Weather Service headquarters on Sand Lake Road near Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. “People should be taking it easy on the roadways,” Kutz said. ”Give yourself time and space to stop.”
