Freshman Jack Smith is back in school and eager to play again 3 months after a frightening collapse in practice
March 16 was a date Jack Smith had been waiting to welcome for weeks, maybe even months, because this was the first day of Millburn boys lacrosse practice.
The 15-year-old freshman had played this sport in town since third grade and grew to love the speed, competitiveness and camaraderie of the game. Now was his chance to start showing off his skills and further broadening his affection for the sport as a member of the Millburn High School team.
