Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon reveals the first look at Brendan Fraser's character, who features alongside Robert De Niro.
A first look at Brendan Fraser in Killers of the Flower Moon is now revealed. Martin Scorsese returns to the directing chair after having last produced 2019's The Irishman. Set at nearly three-and-a-half hours long, Scorsese’s film follows a 1920s FBI trail set off by mysterious murders of Osage tribe members. Killers of the Flower Moon stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, John Lithgow, and Fraser and is set for release on October 20.

Why Killers of the Flower Moon is Great for Brendan Fraser’s Career This image does not reveal much about Fraser’s role in Killers of the Flower Moon, although it is presumable that he is acting as a legal representative. Seeing him next to a masterclass actor like De Niro is, however, a great reminder of what being in a Scorsese film means for Fraser.
Killers of the Flower Moon is Fraser’s first on-screen role since landing an Oscar for The Whale earlier this year. The Whale is oft-considered Fraser’s comeback film, and Killers of the Flower Moon is a chance for him to continue that streak. Before The Whale, Fraser only had a few features and some TV roles since his fame in the 1990s and 2000s. Now, in just two years, Fraser is an Oscar winner and playing a character in a Scorsese film.
