“I get to meet firefighters, teachers, people from all walks of life, like nurses — it’s just an incredible job because you really do feel like you can make a difference in peoples lives,” Biden said.At 1 p.m., the first lady, Murray and Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Denis McDonough will host an event with the Elizabeth Dole Foundation and Wounded Warrior Project at the Pacific Science Center.
