Early fog and clouds will clear today, so expect plenty of sunshine this afternoon for the first day of Summer. High temperatures will be closer to normal today. Coastal highs this afternoon will be in the mid 70s and inland valleys will be around 80 . So we can call today seasonable. Beaches will be in the upper 60s.
After today, our NW winds will increase, so winds will pick up in the afternoon with cooler daytime high temperatures Thursday – Saturday. We start to warm a bit more on Sunday. Our marine layer will still be present in the mornings. Our temperature trend stays just below normal heading into next week as there is nothing significant ahead to break our current weather pattern.
