Firefighters are tackling a huge blaze at a Lancashire pub this evening
Fire & Rescue Service, the command support unit, and the aerial ladder platform are in attendance at a commercial building fire on New Hall Hey Road in Rawtenstall."
A large amount of smoke is coming from the building. Those in the area are being advised to close their windows and doors.Police close roads around fireA message on the Rossendale Police Facebook page said: Please try and avoid the roads around the Cobblers Inn on New Hall Hey Road due to an ongoing fire incident. We have had to close a number of roads and need to keep traffic to a minimum to ensure that LFRS can get equipment in and out as fast as possible.Due to a large amount of smoke coming from the fire locals are being warned to close their windows.Six fire engines from Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service and Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service are at the scene.
