A man fell 20 to 30 feet from one of the towers onto a metal catwalk.
BySEATTLE — Four people were rescued after they climbed the structure at Gas Works Park. One of them was hurt when he fell.
A man fell 20 to 30 feet from one of the towers onto a metal catwalk shortly after 1 a.m. Monday, according to the Seattle Fire Department. Firefighters used a ladder truck to bring the man down. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center with injuries to his leg, back and head. The heavy rescue team was concerned about the stability of the catwalk because the structure was built in 1906.The former coal and oil gasification plant manufactured the gas that supplied Seattle until 1956, according to
