They were taken to a hospital as a precaution, the fire commissioner said.
Fire crews were called at 7:48 p.m. to the single-family home onThree people were reported to have suffered smoke inhalation. Township Fire Commissioner Peter Christ said a firefighter and two residents were taken for treatment as a precaution.
The fire appears to have started in the kitchen and is under investigation by Trexlertown Fire Company fire marshal, Christ said. No other homes were damaged, and the fire marshal cleared the scene by about 11 p.m., the commissioner added.
