Bill C-21, the Liberal government's firearms legislation, will be up for consideration by the Senate’s Defence Committee this fall.

A spokesperson for Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc said the measures contained in Bill C-21 'will help make our communities safer by strengthening gun control and increasing maximum sentences for gun traffickers,' in an emailed statement.
