Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 150 miles and hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 30 miles from the center. The system will stay well east of northeast Florida and southeast Georgia, but swells from the hurricane will impact the beaches by midweek. The rip current threat will also be elevated for much of the week.Copyright 2022 by WJXT News4JAX - All rights reserved.
