The Duo’s heel has a distinct silhouette, slanting outward from below the collar down to the ground. This isn’t a flourish in design—it’s a feature that effectively absorbs shock, especially on descents. Another component that softens pounding—and makes for a plush ride—is Altra’s “Balanced Cushioning” .
