Bee’s Wrap, our favorite proprietor of reusable cloth and beeswax-based food wrap, has come out with a new product. And at Epi, for better or for worse, we get excited about a new form of Bee’s Wrap the way hypebeasts get excited about a Supreme collab or an Aime Leon Doré capsule collection. If there were a Bee’s Wrap store in Soho, we would be the losers lining up outside the door. Their latest drop, a line of reusable produce bags, is not exempt from this excitement.

While Bee’s Wrap isn’t reinventing the wheel here , we’ve always been partial to the texture and longevity of Bee’s Wrap products over their competitors. Bee’s Wrap came out on top of our, and they are a reliable item in the kitchens of nearly everybody on staff. They have the perfect balance of sturdiness and pliability.

Frankly, a Bee’s Wrap bag design was long overdue. Their 11x11" size is large enough to accommodate generous bunches of herbs or a couple pounds of green beans, carrots, or berries—and the side stitch reinforcement makes them extremely durable. And while these bags are marketed as produce bags, that’s really only the baseline of what they are capable of. I used the bag to preserve the end of an absurdly expensive loaf offor over two weeks, and the tight seal prevented it from drying out.

If you’re already a Bee’s Wrap user, you probably don’t need to be convinced. But if you’re still occasionally relying on plastic bags, or if you’re looking to add a new material to that collection of reusable silicone bags, Bee’s Wrap produce bags are for you.
