Folk music group Fiddlers' Sons, made up of Eddy Quinn, left, John B. Webster and Keelin Wedge, are heading to the Hillcrest United Church for an evening of music on April 20. ContributedMONTAGUE, P.E.I. — Award-winning folk band Fiddlers’ Sons will play at the Hillcrest United Church with special guest fiddler Cynthia MacLeod on April 20.Fiddlers’ Sons consists of Eddy Quinn, John B. Webster and Keelin Wedge.
The group is well known across the Island for its blend of traditional Maritime music along with their own songs about Island life. Recently, Quinn released his second book of short stories called Island Characters Volume 2, which features stories about interesting Islanders.Cynthia MacLeod is joining Fiddlers' Sons as the special guest fiddler for a show at the Hillcrest United Church on April 20. ContributedShe is a member of Lennie Gallant’s band and his French duo Sirène et Matelot with Patricia Richard.Wedge has three albums, including two that were self-produced.
