This makes sense as Stellantis has already announced Fiat will launch a new B-Segment model in 2023 and said it will become the brand’s first vehicle based on a “common platform.” Officials didn’t say much about it, but indicated the model would be offered with hybrid powertrains.
While the vehicle was originally believed to be a Punto successor, a crossover would make a lot more sense given consumer preferences. It’s also believed the vehicle could eschew the Punto name and adopt the classic Uno moniker. If that’s the case, Fiat would be reviving an iconic name that dates back to the 1980’s and was most recently used on Brazil’s Novo Uno whichOf course, it’s too early to say anything definitive and we’ll likely learn more in the coming months.
