The Houston Police Department is investigating the death of two infants who were found with no signs of trauma at a home in the city's southeast side.Authorities are investigating the death of two infants found with no signs of trauma at a southeast Houston home on Wednesday afternoon.
At about 11:17 a.m., the Houston Police Department responded to the home in the 2100 block of Linden Creek Lane in regard to infants not breathing. The father reportedly found the 1-month-olds unresponsive in their crib and called 911. The dispatcher was able to provide CPR instructions, but the twins did not survive."This is a very, very tragic, very heartbreaking scene," Cantu said. "Our hearts and prayers go out to the family."
Cantu said that in all infant deaths, it's protocol for them to investigate pending the medical examiner's findings. "Everything seems natural, there didn't seem any foul play - it doesn't seem like that," Cantu continued. "Once again, the family is devastated - looks like they're a very, very caring family."
