The 2:40 p.m. sailing from Denman Island to Buckley Bay on Vancouver Island is holding in dock due to a crew shortage. B.C.
Ferries said the sailing has been delayed because it has been unsuccessful in securing the required crew to sail the vessel.
“We are working to replace the missing crew member as soon as possible so we can resume service,” the ferry corporation wrote on its website. “We require a specific number of crew members to board the vessel to ensure the safety of our passengers in the unlikely event of an emergency and to comply with Transport Canada regulations.”
