An expert who worked for NJ Transit wants Amtrak to fence in the entire Northeast Corridor line to help prevent people from being struck by trains.

Currently, the nation’s busiest, and fastest, rail line lacks fences along its entire length. An entrepreneur and former NJ Transit employee said it’s time for Amtrak to catch up to what high speed rail lines in Europe and Asia have: fences and walls on the tracks to prevent tragic collisions between people and trains.
