Jordan Fernandez pleaded guilty to stealing the gold medal of U.S. Olympic women's volleyball team member Jordyn Poulter. He was sentenced to a year in jail.

Fernandez, who has been in custody since June 3, was sentenced to 364 days in jail and placed on two years of formal probation.Fernandez had pleaded guilty on April 17, 2020, to a felony count of robbery and was sentenced to 120 days in jail and placed on three years of probation. He was jailed again for 60 days Jan. 27, 2022, for violating terms of probation.
