Treetop Eco-Adventure Park in Oshawa is planning to build a new trampoline park and the federal government is chipping in to help it happen.
The Minister of Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario , Filomena Tassi, announced the $125,000 investment Wednesday. The money is coming from the Tourism Growth Program. The government says the addition will help drive tourism, which in turn, will have a positive effect on the local economy.
“Tourism is an economic cornerstone in communities across southern Ontario, stimulating job creation and contributing significantly to the region’s overall prosperity,” said Tassi. “The Government of Canada knows the value in supporting tourism businesses and organizations, like Treetop Eco-Adventure Park, who showcase the unique experiences and attractions southern Ontario has to offer.”
Up to 12,000 people visit Treetop Eco-Adventure Park every year and there are eight courses that take guests through Tarzan ropes, zip lines and a variety of different mid-air games for those three and up.If you have found a spelling error, please, notify us by selecting that text and pressing
