"That was a hell of a good week of data we got last week, and the key thing out if it is it's going to allow us to proceed carefully," Waller told CNBC's Steve Liesman during a"Highlighting those data points was , which showed better-than-expected growth of 187,000 jobs in August while average hourly earnings rose just 0.2% for the month, lower than forecast.
