CoinDesk Deputy Business Editor Danny Nelson broke the story that the more than $600 million exploit of Axie Infinity’s Ronin network was orchestrated by North Korea’s elite “Lazarus” hacker group.

Nelson discusses efforts made by the hackers to launder the stolen funds, citing the use of Tornado Cash, while also explaining the history of Lazarus and their role in funding North Korea’s weapons program. Plus, a conversation about actions being taken by the FBI and the U.S. Treasury Department.
