FBI agents who searched President Joe Biden’s Rehoboth Beach home again Wednesday for a little over three hours found no classified documents, Biden’s personal lawyer Bob Bauer said in a statement. “The DOJ’s planned search of the President’s Rehoboth residences, conducted in coordination and cooperation with the President’s attorneys, has concluded. The search was conducted from 8:30 AM to noon,” he said in the statement.
Last month, Bauer said, lawyers searched the home and also found no classified documents. Wednesday’s search by the Justice Department was carried out as a “further step in a thorough and timely DOJ process,” and Biden was in “full support,” Bauer said. “Under DOJ’s standard procedures, in the interests of operational security and integrity, it sought to do this work without advance public notice, and we agreed to cooperate,” he added.
