Three generations lived in a Harrisburg home where they were attacked by another family member on Wednesday morning.

Meredith was with her mother, Sandra Reid, inside a house in the 1300 block of Liberty Street in Harrisburg on Wednesday morning. Also in the home was Meredith’s half-sister, Meredith Greene; Greene’s fiance, Tyler Thames; and the couple’s two young children.Around 6:45 a.m., Greene’s brother Gregory Gerrod Greene Jr., went to the home and shot Greene, Thames and Meredith, according to police. He also stabbed the two girls, ages 6 and 7.
The PFA was the only course of action for the family because even though Meredith Greene said he had punched and choked her, she wrote that police told her they could not arrest her brother without any physical marks of the assault.
