Liam and Noel Gallagher this morning sent people into a frenzy as they confirmed 'music's worst kept secret' that Oasis was returning for a comeback tour next year.
Oasis fans are today reminiscing about the band's 2009 gig prices with fears the cost for a ticket for the 2025 reunion concerts could soar past the £100 mark.
Tickets for the fourteen confirmed shows will go on sale on Saturday with fans 'preparing to go to war' to grab a ticket. It showed the concert priced at a relatively cheap £38.50 with VAT of 15 per cent at the time pushing the total cost to £44. The Bank of England's inflation calculator shows that would put the price today at £68.02.
The 14-show tour will run from July 4 to August 17, kicking off at Cardiff's Principality Stadium before the brothers pack out Heaton Park in Manchester, Wembley in London, Murrayfield in Edinburgh and Croke Park in Dublin.
