Toni Branks suddenly lost her mum in January
A loving daughter hopes to raise funds for her mum's funeral after she passed away 'out of the blue' after having a stroke while watching TV.
Toni, 27, told Glasgow Live: "That day my mum and dad went to Tesco, came home made dinner, watched TV then it just happened. "In 2004 she had a mini-stroke and in 1999 she had her first stroke when she was giving birth to my brother. The doctors didn't know that she had a stroke, my dad noticed that her face wasn't right and she wasn't talking properly. The sudden death of Michelle has left Toni, her dad and her brother bereft. They are still hopeful that their mother will walk through the door again one day."She always went shopping in the morning so we just think she is at the shops.
"She was always keen to start a conversation. She didn't have a bad bone in her body. My mum always put her kids first. One furry member of the family has also taken the loss extremely hard.
