The event honored local law enforcement, their families, and their departments.
This weekend was the first annual Faith and Blue Sunday in Lancaster County.
“They are the first ones in at a scene, they are the first ones into an active shooter, and often they are take for granted, nobody likes to get pulled over by the police for speeding or something like that, and we are just looking to have a positive impact not only in the community but in their lives and really thank them for their service and give back a little bit to what they give so freely to us,” said the pastor at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Seth Urie.
