Security is being provided by 130,000 police and para-military troops, along with anti-drone systems and cutouts of langurs to scare off monkeys, while stray dogs have been cleared from the streets.The world's 20 major countries formed an economic grouping after the Asian financial crisis in 1999 on the understanding that crises spilling across borders needed better international economic co-operation to tackle them.
The bloc has failed to issue any joint statements this year, as it is deeply divided over language referring to the war in Ukraine.
