According to the AG's office, the incident happened early Saturday morning.
No staff or personnel were injured by the explosion and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency will be leading the investigation.
ALEA said it was notified just after 8:00 a.m. of the incident at Washington Avenue and South Bainbridge Street. Anyone with information is urged to contact ALEA to report at 676-7890 or or call its 24-hour crime hotline at 855-75-CRIME. ALEA said it is requesting the public's assistance in identifying the person of interest related to the incident
