He explained that most of these automated tools ingest a bunch of images that are real and a bunch that are generated, and they train another AI system to learn the difference. He said that they are not very explainable and they are black boxes that come up with an answer. He said that at their best, they operate at 90 percent accuracy, which is pretty good, but they tend to suffer with out-of-domain images.
