There's plenty of sunshine to look forward to for most of the Easter long weekend if you have plans to get outdoors.
Environment Canada is forecasting a sunny Good Friday in Toronto with a high of 6 C, dropping to a low of -4 C by nighttime. Saturday is also expected be sunny with a high of 7 C with a low of -2 C by night, while Sunday will see a mix of sun and cloud at a high of 11 C preceding a slightly warmer, cloudy nighttime than the previous day with a low of 3 C.
As for Easter Monday, Environment Canada expects a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a daytime high of 14 C, but with only about one hour of sun that day. Monday will also see wind gusts up to 38 km/h, The Weather Network said. Forecasts for Mississauga, Durham, Halton, Peel and York are similar to Toronto’s, with mainly sunny days for Friday and Saturday before ending with a mix of sun and clouds on Sunday, then light rain on Monday.
