ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive look at Super7‘s all-new ODB Deluxe Figure, based on the iconic member of hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan.
The new figure is inspired by ODB, also known as Ol’ Dirty Bastard, one of the founding members of the iconic hip-hop group the Wu-Tang Clan. The rapper was seen as one of the bigger forces in music prior to his untimely passing at the age of 35 from an accidental drug overdose in 2004.The figure itself is 7″ scale, and features 18 points of articulation, as well as an intricate sculpt and premium paint detailing.
Known for his outrageous and oftentimes profane style of delivery and performance, ODB — real name Russell Tyrone Jones — was on three of Wu-Tang Clan’s albums prior to his death, the group’s legendary debut album Enter the Wu-Tang , and its 1997 follow-up Wu-Tang Forever, and 2000’s The W. As a solo artist, ODB also released two of his own albums, the final one being N—- Please in 1999.
ODB’s figure joins a series of musician figures that Super7 has honored with action figures.
