Samuel Kim, who worked for the Palisades Park Police Department, claimed in a lawsuit that his supervisor shouted at him in public, bullied him in the locker room and assaulted him with chopsticks.
A former police officer in a Bergen County borough, who claimed he was bullied by an allegedly bad lieutenant, has settled his lawsuit for $120,000, according to court documents.that his supervisor made his life a nightmare by shouting at him in public, bullying him in the locker room and assaulting him with chopsticks.
But Kim responded that to interfere with a summons would be considered abuse of authority or official misconduct, the suit states. The agreement states that the $120,000, made payable to Kim and his attorneys, is for “personal physical injuries and/or physical sickness such as headaches, nausea, digestive issues, insomnia, etc.”
