In the Browns' first 11 games, Nick Chubb has amassed 1,039 rushing yards, which ranks third in the NFL.At one point this season, running for 150 yards against the Texans had become a common occurrence.
Though the Texans’ offense hasn’t made any strides — the reason they’ve struggled so mightly — the defense has. But while the Texans are well aware of his passing, they are more concerned with how the Browns run the football. “They’re not trying to be fancy,” Kirksey said. “Chubb is one of the best at making people miss and breaking tackles. They are going to be physical.”“They’re hard to tackle also,” Smith said of Chubb and Hunt, “and that’s what makes this offense, and that’s why we can’t get into this trap of now all of a sudden they are a team that’s going to pass it 50 times.
But the reality is he hasn’t played in two years. And the Texans don’t expect the Browns to go away from their bread and butter. They expect them to run it.
