Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Two years after the release of Alex Rider season 2, the series is returning to Amazon Freevee with its final batch of episodes. All eight installments drop on April 5 and will focus even more heavily on the criminal network known as Scorpia.
Eve Gutierrez: I am so thrilled that this show is now going to be launching in April. I've been on the show since season 1, and it just gets better and better and better. Obviously, we benefit enormously from having a cast who largely know each other already and know their characters incredibly well. I was so thrilled when Sofia agreed to come on board as Julia Rothman, who's a really iconic character in the Alex Rider world. Sofia Helin: She's a complex woman.
Eve Gutierrez: For us, this is really a final chapter of a three-season arc. We had a very clear idea from the offset how Alex was going to grow and how his relationship with the department, that's obviously well-established in season 1, was going to change across the show and how his perception and knowledge of Scorpia was going to open out, and obviously in this season, he finally gets to meet Julia Rothman. We don't really view it as the end of Alex Rider on the screen.
On that same note, what was most important for you to highlight relationship-wise or story-wise this season?
