The amount of $859,000 in gas was used by a Binance 14 Ethereum address within an hour from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 21. The transaction's impact resulted in a significant increase in Ethereum gas prices on the Ethereum network, which increased from a minimum of 6 gwei to a maximum of 332 gwei per transaction.Top crypto exchange Binance stated it had carried out a routine consolidation of ETH into one of its wallets as the reason for the massive gas fees.
